Welcome to the NEWHL! The Hockey Academy and New England Women's Hockey League, have partnered together to continue to grow women's hockey in a fun and educational environment. To read more on the new partnership, read our release story HERE.

Part of this new partnership will include no longer having to register with USA Hockey to participate!

The New England Women's Hockey League (NEWHL) is a senior women's day/evening league that offers skills programs at Nashoba Valley Olympia in Boxborough, MA. The NEWHL is a fun, semi-competitive skills-based league that is committed to improving women's hockey skills, promoting camaraderie, and growing women's hockey!

NEWHL Fall Skills 2024

Wednesday Skills - C/D/REC Players

Wednesdays 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM (1.5 Hr Sessions)
September 4 - December 18, 2024 (16 Weeks)

COST - $600

Add 16 Friday Games (Games Must be Approved by Brian Fontas)

Fridays 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
September 6 - December 20, 2024 (16 Weeks)

COST - $940

Price includes 1 reversible game jersey

Coach Brian will work on edgework, the basis of ice hockey, along with hockey drills and puck handling. All basics of hockey skating will be covered in this fun supportive program. You will need full hockey equipment, a mouth guard, and a large bottle of water! If you are approved by coach Brian you can add the Friday games.
